This Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant uses only carefully selected fresh ingredients all prepared right in front of you

Take the C5 exit from Ikebukuro Station on the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line, once you've exited, turn around and take the alley that extends straight from the front of Marui, and cross the first crossroads to the right. There you hould find "Teppanyaki Flame EN". It is a teppanyaki specialty store with a live kitchen where you can enjoy the chef cooking in front of you. There are many courses that are perfect for celebrating anniversaries with family and friends, and there are also entertaining courses that include flaming flambé and birthday plate desserts. The area is surrounded by popular Ikebukuro stores, but it is also a popular hideaway for those to escape the busy streets.

"1 pound Canadian lobster" boiled fresh with strong flavor and great elasticity. You can enjoy two different textures from both the claws and body. Served with a tomato-based Americaine sauce and soup stock from Lobster shells.

"A5 Japanese Kuroge Wagyu Sirloin Steak 100g" is a sirloin steak using A5 Japanese beef that is marbled with sweet and juicy fat. We use various brand of wagyu such as Saga's Imari beef, Daejeon beef, Joshu beef, Omi beef, and Sendai beef. Simply add rock salt, sashimi soy sauce, and wasabi so that you can enjoy the sweetness of the fat.

"Grilled tomato" The tomatoes are flambéed with orange liqueur to give them a sweetness and a hint of fruit, is a famous dish.

"Onion steak" is made by slowly cooking domestically produced onions at low temperature for 1 hour. By steaming it through four stages of white wine, butter, brandy, and salt and pepper, only the sweetness of the onions is left. The menu is so popular that some regular customers come just for the onion. It takes time to cook, so it's a good idea to order it first.

"Asparagus pork roll" is a thick asparagus wrapped with Japanese pork rose. The balance between the sweetness of asparagus and the savoury fat of pork is exquisite and delicious.

"Oyster butter" is made by baking large size oysters from Hiroshima with butter, making a bourboulenc style sauce on the iron plate, and then sprinkling it on the oysters. Served with homemade tartar. There are four oysters on one plate.

The "Drink comparison set" is a set that allows you to compare and drink three types of sake selected by a chef who is qualified as a sake master. It is filled with the chef's desire to share various kinds of sake. Some brands are not on the menu, and they will serve you according to your taste.

The chic black-based interior has a calm atmosphere, with 9 of the popular counter seats and 4 table seats that can each accommodate up to 4 people. Two of them being semi-private rooms. It can also be reserved and can accommodate up to 25 people. There is no elevator, but strollers are OK in the store and there is tableware for children, making it ideal for celebrating family anniversaries and or birthdays. You can enjoy Sapporo Shiraho Noka, an unfiltered beer available in only a very few stores, for 800 yen per glass. It is creamy and refreshing with less bitterness, so it goes well with meals. The chef can speak English, Cantonese, and Chinese, so even foreigners can order with confidence.
