Take Exit 9 from Tameike-sanno Station on the Tokyo Metro, go straight, cross the pedestrian crossing under the Metropolitan Expressway, and enter the alley with the Doutor shop. Once you reach the end of the alleyway on your left the "Bistro Bonne Femme" should be visible. The restaurant is a cute shop modeled on a private house in Southern France. You can enjoy classic authentic French cuisine while having a cozy hideaway experience all at a good price. Including Kaga vegetables such as lotus root and potatoes, the chef loves to make the most out of the natural deliciousness of the ingredients and serve them to customers in a cozy environment. In the warmer months, there is an open terrace where you can spend time sipping wine while feeling the cool breeze.
"Terrine-style vegetable with wild rose fruit sauce" is a kind of jellylike dish made with using vegetable broth. You can enjoy the sweetness and the texture of vegetables. The sauce has a sweet and sour taste, made from Rosehip blended with honey and is very appetizing.
"Greek-style Lobster and pike conger eel with various vegetables" is a summer-only menu item using a type of french lobster know as Aumale and conger a Japanese type of eel. Using lots of olive oil made in a traditional greek style. The punch of the tomato coulis and cherry vinegar, the sweetness of vegetable bouillon, the salty taste of pike conger, and the umami of lobster combine to create an exquisite taste.
"French duck foie gras croquette" is a croquette made by slicing fresh foie gras (duck liver) and marinated in port wine and cognac. Served with black truffle sauce and jam made from walnuts, raisins, and cinnamon. The combination of foie gras and truffle gives it a unique flavor and with added nice texture of jam and walnuts.
"Course B 5 dishes" is a luxurious course with 2 appetizers, daily meat, and fish dishes, 2 breads, and dessert. Desserts are served on a wagon, and there are about 12 types of desserts such as tarts, mousses, creme brulee, and gateau chocolate to be selected from.
"Tonguefish Bonfam style" is a classic dish that has been popular for a long time. Slow-cooked tonguefish, drizzled in vermouth-based cream sauce blended with sabayon. Rich and high-quality taste.
"Hagukumi Akagi Wagyu Beef Tail soft boiled in Red Wine sauce" is a tasty and large Akagi Wagyu Beef Tail that is baked and then boiled in red wine and flavored for about 4 hours. Soft, tender and melts in your mouth.
"Conger eel tart and bean mousse" is made with conger eel lightly boiled in Pernou liquor, sandwiching potatoes and dried tomatoes made with pie crust base, and drizzled in sauce made from the broth. This dish comes topped with broad bean mousse (or fava bean is a mousse-like paste made the bean) A summer menu inspired by Nice in Southern France.
The cozy atmosphere of the southern France style house is great for events with its stylish appearance and formal seats, events like ceremonies, dates, and anniversaries go great here. Also great for casual occasions with family and friends. There are 16 tables in total, 3 of which face the road and can be converted into terrace-like seating depending on the season. It can also be reserved for groups of up to 38 people when seated and up to 50 people for standing meals. With an abundant selection of wines that match well with French cuisine, and an impressive wine cellar which always stocks about 100 brands. There are many French wines from Burgundy, and some wines are not written on the list as they get new wines often allowing to meet various requests. Located in an area with many international embassies the restaurant receives many international customers. Menus come in English, Chinese, Korean, and French. There is also staff who can speak English and French.
