Okiagari Koboshi's recommended lunch, "Shunsai Rakumi Gozen," which includes 9 dishes including a small appetizer, sweet appitizer, side dish, fried food, sashimi, simmered food, meat dishes, meals, and water confectionery. Grilled Beef loin in the second lacquered box is full of volume. It is a set where you can easily enjoy colorful seasonal dishes, and it is nice to have dessert and coffee after meals. Many of the elegant dishes in lacquered boxes are pretty in appearance and delicate in taste!
The "Omakase Kaiseki" is recommended for the dinner course. A total of 9 courses, starting with appetizers and ending with meals. Aizu's local dish, "Herring Sansho-zuke", is a classic "Okiagari Koboshi" gem that is always included in the course. The aged taste of herring and the aroma of Japanese pepper are exquisite! The course content will change depending on the purchase situation, but you may also be able to enjoy luxurious Maesawa beef meat dishes!
In addition to ingredients sent directly from Aizu such as vegetables, edible wild plants, and horse meat, carefully selected domestic Japanese beef and fresh seafood delivered from designated fishing grounds centered on Sagami Bay and Suruga Bay are packed with seasonal flavors from all over the country. Rather than choosing the ingredients according to the dish, the chef chooses the ingredients of the season and the chef will work accordingly. We would like you to have a high-quality, luxurious kaiseki kaiseki meal.
"Okiagari Koboshi" stands quietly in the back alley, a 3-minute walk from Toranomon Station. The interior of the restaurant, which has the image of a Machiya in Kyoto, is lined with discerning works of art. The warmth of the wood and the gentle lighting inside the restaurant create a calm space like a hideaway, which makes you feel nostalgic and dear to your hometown. "Okiagari Koboshi" is limited to 5 groups a day in all private rooms! The largest private room with digging Kotatsu can accommodate up to 16 people, so even a large number of people can relax.
There is also a wide selection of sake. "Okiagari Koboshi" also has a large selection of limited sake, mainly seasonal ones. I heard that they are ordering in bulk from a liquor store in Aizu that they have been acquainted with for many years. You may come across a popular rare sake! The chief of the board regularly visits Aizu himself to visit producers and breweries to collect information on ingredients and sake. The condition of the ingredients, and the thoughts and hardships of the creator, that cannot be known without actually seeing, hearing, and touching. By knowing the "story" of the ingredients, the charm is utilized in cooking. We hope you will enjoy authentic Japanese food in this cozy space and spend a blissful time.
