Make your own Taiyaki!

A Taiyaki restaurant where you create your own Japanese Taiyaki sweets while learning about its history and enjoying with all five senses.

Take the elevator exit of Tawaramachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, head right then turn right at the intersection with the APA Hotel. Follow that road until you reach a set of traffic lights and on your left, diagonally is the store. A Taiyaki restaurant in Asakusa where you can experience Japanese culture and tradition with all five senses. The Taiyaki dough contains soy milk made by a long-established tofu shop in Asakusa, and you can enjoy its unique chewy texture. In addition, the bean paste is luxuriously made with Tokachi's finest azuki beans, Hoshuku, which is not normally used in Taiyaki, and is kneaded by craftsmen in a direct-fired copper kettle to maximize its deliciousness. This shop, where you can use full-scale commercial equipment, is very popular with tourists from overseas who want to experience Japanese culture.

With a commercial taiyaki machine, you can experience baking 6 sweets per person using 2 types of ingredients. Includes soft drinks, photo opportunities and you can take it home.

"Taiyaki Experience", you can use a full-scale commercial taiyaki machine to bake 6 taiyaki per person. With an easy-to-understand Video with English subtitles, you can learn about the history of Taiyaki and how to make it. Of course, if you have any questions, the veteran staff will tell help. Popular with foreigners, children, and seniors and a truly unique Japanese experience for all. The freshly made Taiyaki is delicious and harmony of soft dough and ingredients that you can't help but smile as you enjoy. The experience takes about 60 minutes.

The ingredients to choose from like bean paste, custard cream, dry keema curry, cheese, matcha flavored batter + matcha paste.

You can choose up to 2 types from a total of 11 types of Korean style, Onigiri style, Sweet potato style, Hotdog Style, Okonomiyaki style, Apple pie style.
In addition, you can bring in your favorite ingredients and make your own original Taiyaki.

If you are unsure feel free to ask the kind shop staff for recommendations! Don't forget to take a commemorative photo when the Taiyaki is completed.

Store Information

At the take-out corner, you can purchase a total of 6 types of Taiyaki, including red bean paste, cream, rich matcha, dry curry, whole potatoes, and double cheese. Made fresh to order when you order. Drinks and gelato are also available for purchase. The interior of the store is a tatami room cafe with impressive ukiyo-e(Edo-period woodblock print style, which can be used by those who purchase a set of taiyaki and drinks. In the summer, you can also enjoy the fluffy ice dessert made from raw ice procured from the 4th generation Onoya Himuro. The menu is available in English, Chinese, and French, and the DVD explaining how to make it has English and Chinese subtitles, so even foreigners can use it with confidence.
