Chopstick Specialty Store!

The best chopsticks from all around Japan are all located conveniently in this Japanese chopstick specialty store.

Take the B3 exit from Tokyo Metro Ginza Station, once you exit turn right and walk straight, cross the first intersection, and after crossing you will see "Ginza Natsuno" on your right. This chopstick specialty store boasts having about 2,500 types of chopsticks and more than 1,000 types of chopstick rests. This store presents all different kinds of chopsticks from all over Japan, from types like lacquered and woodworking chopsticks and pottery and textiles so that you can experience various traditional cultures from all over Japan. There is also a large selection of original chopsticks that can only be purchased here. With the theme of "It may just be chopsticks, but they too can be special" and "Having special chopsticks can make even normal meals become special meals". The inside of the store is a small museum of Japanese culture, filled with the owner's feelings.

"京清水焼 色絵七宝夫婦箸 雙楽窯" is a rare chopstick that can only be purchased here, with the handle part being of Kiyomizu ware. The pottery part is hollow and light, making them easy to handle. Although hollow they are hard to break because it is baked 4 times, it can be repaired, so it can be used for a long time.

"嵯峨螺鈿利休箸" is a high-class chopstick that has a finely shaved handle and is said to contain a Japanese god. The painted pattern is handled by a craftsman who specializes in Raden work, and the color arrangement and presentation are exquisite and profound. The tip of the chopsticks has a non-slip finish, making it easy to use.

"Snakewood" is an octagonal wooden chopstick that uses the world's hardest snakewood from the Guiana Highlands in South America. Taking advantage of the hardness of the material, the chopstick tips are extremely finely finished, making it easy to grasp even small objects. It is heavy and has a nice texture, so it is comfortable to use, and it can be repaired, so it can be used for a long time.

"西陣模様箔 六角箸 二色" are hexagonal wooden chopsticks decorated by a Nishijin-ori color foil craftsman in Kyoto. Since it is made by pressing the foil, the shape peculiar to wooden chopsticks is maintained, and the gorgeousness that cannot be produced with paint is evident.

"振り出し銀箸 槌目" is the original silver portable chopsticks. Originally, it has the origin of chopsticks that the daimyo carried around with him. With a chopstick bag, it is convenient to carry around when traveling.

"Chopsticks holder (Kyoto)" is a work by a female artist who studied the craft in Kyoto. It is a cute pottery bright pottery piece.

"Bean plate / small plate (Saitama)" is also a work of a different female artist who also studied the craft in Kyoto. Finished in a pop design, the easy-to-use small plate is ideal for everyday use.

"京清水焼 五色折り鶴 cranes" is a gorgeous chopstick holder of Kyoto ware. It can be used as decoration around the house.
